Tires, Shocks, Alignment
Your car’s suspension is much more expensive to fix than to maintain. Problems with your alignment, tires, tire pressure, or suspension can cause very poor gas mileage, uneven wear on tires, and poor cornering; not to mention these parts help you handle and break under slippery conditions. If the steering wheel is out of alignment when driving straight, or if your car rides rough over bumps in the road you should bring it in for service.
Did you know: Front tires bear more weight, handle more brake load, and in general wear more quickly than rear tires especially in front wheel drive vehicles. Tires should be rotated every 5,000 to 10,000 miles, or as recommended by your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
